August 2020

The Dog Days of Summer

Dear Adventure Women,

We hope you’re enjoying the hot summer safely as we welcome August and the remaining days affectionately known as the “dog days of summer.”

Speaking of which, our office pooch Ellie has enjoyed all things water this summer, including floating along this lake in Maine.

This month, we continue our Ambassador series and feature our own office rock star, Katie Bartel. We also continue featuring past guests, and this month’s guest encourages you to “just show up and have the time of your life.

What better way to do that than to sign up for the LAST spot on our Idaho whitewater rafting trip? If you are itching to get away on a close-to-home adventure next month, this is truly perfect: it offers single accommodations at no additional cost, thrilling rapids, and starry summer evenings – a true wilderness experience.

We have two other fantastic outdoor adventures that are also close to home and feature single accommodations: choose from hiking, fly fishing, and horseback riding in Yellowstone; or hiking, horseback riding, and canyoneering in Utah.

Visiting Yellowstone and Utah in September is purely magical. The weather is almost perfect with cooler temperatures, and the fall colors are at their finest. In Yellowstone, many species of wildlife are mating, providing excellent opportunities to see them in most areas of the park. Utah offers comfortable temperatures for hiking through the stunning foliage of Zion and Bryce Canyon.

We know that some of you aren't ready to travel yet, and we completely understand. When all of this is over, what's your next bucket list trip? We'd love to know!

"I love that no matter how many times I go to Zion National Park, it still blows my mind."
Mandy W.
