March 2018

Carpe Diem: Empower Yourself

As March draws to a close and Spring either arrives on time (or doesn't!), we continue to highlight the power of women to chart their own paths forward - wherever these may take them.

One of our fearless guests, Nadine, sent in a great example of how she did this on our recent New Zealand trip. And Judi's podcast with Conde Nast Traveler's "Women Who Travel" makes some great points about what you, as women, tell us about why you are so passionate about adventure travel.

We also explore some unique factoids about Ecuador, a small country with a big payoff, including the Galapagos Islands, Andean cowboys, volcanoes, and incredible wildlife – from river dolphins to caimans, monkeys, and butterflies!

And based on the popularity of 2018 trips, we're adding a Bhutan departure and a Montana Ski trip to our 2019 lineup!

Finally, did you catch our 2019 Destinations Quiz on Facebook and Instagram? Guess the top three 2019 destinations which have the highest bookings as of April 1st and you win an AdventureWomen buff OR waterbottle!

"I just returned from my fifth AW trip -- this one to Easter Island and the wine country of Chile. As with all the others, the trip was a delight. It was well planned, exhilarating, at times challenging, and involved a group of delightful women. My only regret is that I don't have enough time to do more of their trips."
