We just love it when Adventure Women return from a trip with us and send us their trip reviews about their experience. Here are some guest reviews about our 2015 Yellowstone Winter Wonderland trip in Montana for snowshoeing, wildlife viewing, dog sledding, and photographing Montana’s Yellowstone ecosystem in the Winter:

“I’m so glad to have been a part of the AdventureWomen Yellowstone trip with ten nature-loving women, wonderfully guided by Leslie Stoltz. It was thrilling to spot four-footed wildlife and to ride a dogsled. Snowshoeing where only animal footprints marked vast blankets of snow was also awesome. The memory that makes me laugh every time I think of it was of many bison romping and chasing each other playfully in an open field. What a treat to see such unexpected spontaneity. I honestly didn’t think I could make the long trek on snowshoes, but I did it! More importantly, experiencing a beautiful, snowy winter for a few days was a rare experience.”

Ah-hah moment of the trip…

“When I discovered how much I enjoyed snow-shoeing!”

“The rush of standing on two small runners behind a team of powerful dogs and yelling HIKE for the first time! Feeling the freedom and the wind in my face.”

What I will remember most…

“The serenity of walking in the woods covered in snow and it being so quiet that the only sound was the crunching of snow under your feet. Discovering animal tracks across virgin snow how everything was so still, yet so alive.”

“I feel lucky to have had Leslie, our incredibly knowledgeable guide who was perfectly comfortable and in her element. Her passion for nature and for people was infectious.”

I would do this trip again because…

“Seeing the buffalos!”

“Great guide, small group, good food, wonderful destination.”

“It was a casual way to explore the Yellowstone area.”

I found out something about myself on this trip. It was…

“Taking the chance to learn something new – I loved the dog sledding!”

“That snowshoeing was possible for someone my age! The outings into the silent valleys were deeply pleasing and soul strengthening.”

The one thing I am dying to tell my family and/or friends is…

“How much better Yellowstone is in the winter versus the crowded summer.”

“How beautiful Montana is!”
