February 2010 Better Homes and Gardens Magazine In an article entitled “Two for the road – make a mother-daughter getaway the trip of two lifetimes,” AdventureWomen participants Mary Alice Wilson and her daughter, Laurakay Louke talked about traveling together. May 2007 Women's Day Magazine In the article "Where the Girls Are: Unusual ideas for women-only vacations," by Paula Spencer, Susan Eckert is featured: "Ten or 20 years ago, people used to ask my clients, 'What's wrong with your marriage?' when they traveled on women-only adventures," recalls Susan Eckert, founder of AdventureWomen, a tour company in Bozeman, Montana. "Now it's seen as a really healthy thing to do."
