Tales from the Field
Pampered in Paradise
March 10 – 16, 2010

It’s no wonder that one of our longest-running, most popular winter getaways is our British Virgin Islands Caribbean Sail, Snorkel and Scuba adventure.

In the middle of winter, who wouldn't want to be on board the world’s largest luxury trimaran sailboat, enjoying a fabulous warm-weather escape with watersports activities galore, decadent food and wonderful accommodations—an experience rated as "one of the top five vacations in the world" by travel writers!

Our days are filled with sailing, snorkeling and scuba diving, in addition to eating and also relaxing!

Here are some comments from past participants:

"...even though I have now done it twice, I can't see it ever getting boring. Between the scenery, the diving, the great people that you meet and the excellent crew – it is truly a week of wonders! I will definitely be back next year!"

"...each day is full of options to enjoy your Caribbean adventure. The boat is comfortable, with a fun and energy-filled crew, anxious to serve..."

"...it's a wonderful opportunity for snorkeling, kayaking, and even sailing the Hobie Cats that are available."

For those who come to scuba dive (or want to learn to scuba dive!), one of the highlights of the week is a night dive on the beautiful wreck of the Rhone–a British mail ship sunk in a storm in 1867 and generally recognized as the best dive site in the Caribbean.

"I had a great week. The boat was absolutely amazing. I loved the diving ... and getting my advanced PADI open water certification... and hope to see you again!"

"The BVI is awesome...snorkeling was amazing...and we had a great group of women."

Can I DARE you to look at our 2010 Caribbean winter escape? We have just a FEW spaces left!

Adventurous New Zealand
March 16-31, 2010

Back by popular demand, this exciting multi-activity and cultural exploration of New Zealand on,will take us through the South Island’s awe-inspiring national parks and wilderness areas. Kiwi hospitality and wonderful accommodations round out this Spectacular South Island Adventure in New Zealand.

"WOW. I had such a good time. I'm amazed at how many people I've talked with who would love to go there. They all ask 'Is it really as beautiful as you hear?' And none can believe jumping into 800 meters deep water to play with about 300 wild dolphins. Most people never get those opportunities!"  says one of our past AdventureWomen participants.

We have more exciting activities on this trip than almost any other! Don’t miss out this time around!

Fabulous sea kayaking and hiking for 3 days in Abel Tasman National Park

Our New Zealand guides showing us the fruits of the sea.

Getting ready to enter a cave "walk and float" for a view of New Zealand's famous glowworms.

Dropped by helicopter to walk with crampons on Fox Glacier

Relaxing in an ice hole

Jetboating! One of New Zealand's favorite pastimes.

From our luxurious mountain view rooms at the famous Hermitage Hotel, we could watch the light and clouds play on Mount Cook.
