Leisurely explore quiet landscapes, catch up on your reading while sunning on deck, walk or ride a bicycle along the towpath, enjoy gourmet regional cuisine, sample superb wines, and immerse yourself in the architectural heritage and rich, multi-cultural history of Burgundy, one of the most famous regions in France.
From our private and elegant hotel-barge, spend 7 days and 6 nights on the Burgundy Canal. Enjoy daily motor excursions and walking tours into notable towns and villages along our route. During the week and weather permitting, you will also have the option of viewing the countryside from high above in a majestic hot air balloon! Ride, raft, hike, and fly fish —we’ll pack in all the activities that make Montana famous. Safari in Yellowstone to see “big game,” have fun on a western hayride and BBQ dinner, explore well-preserved gold mining towns, and re-live Lewis and Clark history at the headwaters of the Missouri River. Celebrate the 4th of July with a Western rodeo and fireworks!
Luxury log cabin accommodations and our knowledgeable Montana-based guide make this adventure one of our all-time most popular western vacations.

“I am still basking in the glow of our wonderful riding trip [California’s Mendocino Coast] in September. It may have been one of the best vacations ever! Thank you for what you do! AdventureWomen is the best travel idea anyone ever had.”
“The Grand Canyon raft trip was the best holiday I’ve ever had!”
"I have received two identical brochures from two Universities featuring a trip to Bhutan (including Bangkok). The trips look okay, but so "thin" compared to the texture we all experienced with AdventureWomen. I'm so very glad I was able to absorb so much of Bhutan at the time that I did."
“I love to read the newsletters and imagine which trip I would take first. Right now I’m just beginning chemotherapy/radiation for breast cancer. I will get through this, then have 2 more years of a high schooler in the house. Then I’m going to go somewhere with you to celebrate cancer-free and empty-nester status! Keep those newsletters coming… they’re one of the ‘carrots’ that gets me through this rough patch.”
“My memories of Bhutan will be part of my very being forever. It’s difficult to put into words the feelings, emotion, and the joy of being there. It was an experience of a lifetime… .”
“AdventureWomen was my incentive to quit smoking. After seeing an AdventureWomen brochure, I pondered it for a year, quit smoking for a year, and then booked your Grand Canyon raft trip. That was five years ago, and I have never smoked again!”
“I am so thrilled to have stumbled upon your website. I’m 38 years old, recently divorced and have no children. My ex-husband and I spent the last 10 years traveling extensively, and I thought the divorce would also end my travel adventures. Well, now that I’ve discovered your company, I know I can still see the world without having to depend on my husband. What a relief! I’m looking so forward to learning more about AdventureWomen, and hopefully booking a trip for this Summer.”
Come explore the world with AdventureWomen,
“First and Still the Best!”
